That’s why Noah is listed as a hero of faith in Hebrews 11:7. There we are told his faith saved him and his family from the flood and caused God to consider Noah righteous. How would you react if God told you to do something this seemingly crazy? Generally, what God asks us to do doesn’t require this much risk or effort, but we still find it hard. When we don’t do what God asks, we demonstrate our lack of faith. We can talk or sing about how much we love and trust God, but our actions may tell a different story.
