4. Peak Performance
Samson, set apart for God from conception, was meant to remain holy. Growing up, the Lord blessed him, and God’s Spirit stirred in him. However, to his parents' dismay, Samson had a weakness for ungodly, non-Hebrew women.
Samson supernaturally performed astonishing physical feats. When Samson revealed his secret to Delilah, both the Lord and his strength left him. That disclosure cost him his eyes and awarded him hard labor in prison.
His final performance brought the house down. Literally. Thousands of Philistines died, along with Samson.
Let’s be people of God who, Spirit-led and God-empowered, consistently honor the Lord.
