Recognizing and Leveraging Vital Connections

While considering vital connections, the most important is our connection with God. All other important connections spring from that vital relationship. When we connect with God and acknowledge Him as our Father and we live in surrender to His perfect will, it’s easier to become aware of and to identify all the vital connections that surround us as we listen to and follow His leading. 

Having divine guidance will ensure that we don’t miss our way. In today’s reading, we see how Naaman nearly missed what might have been the most important connection in his life, without which he would have remained a leper. 

Sometimes, the relationships and connections we need don’t look like what we want; they don’t glitter, but they are vital nonetheless.

Prayer: Lord, open the eyes of my understanding. Help me to see and know the crucial relationships that You have placed around me, and help me to make the most of them. Amen.
