Relationships According to the Book of Ruth නියැදිය

DAY 16: You’re Responsible For Your Relationship With God.
One-sided relationships are doomed to fail. Healthy, fruitful relationships are born out of a measurable effort from those involved to grow stronger, closer and better together. Naomi gave her daughters-in-law the freedom to go back to their own families.
Ruth’s relationship with God began where she made a choice to choose Him for herself. The same is true for us. No one can decide for us, and until we do, we cannot enjoy a relationship with God.
Speaking for God when addressing the Israelites, Joshua laid the choice before them while declaring his own commitment to following God. And we see over and over again in scripture that God has done his part in pursuing a relationship with us.
One such example is evident in John's words, “God loves us so much that He gave us everything in His Son Jesus” – still, whether we choose to believe is up to us. Whether we choose to live in a relationship with God – one where He is our loving Lord, and we are His obedient children – is up to each one of us.
Have you decided to be in a relationship with God? If not, why is that?
