Worship at the Wellනියැදිය

There have been times in my life where I have been marked by lingering in the presence of God. Now, as a mother of five children, daily life looks very different for me. Give me any modern convenience that promises to offer efficiency and ease to my very full plate. Yet even with all of the modern conveniences that make our lives seem better, our souls long for a different sort of satisfaction. Sometimes it is not something new we need, but a rediscovery of the old. 

More than the latest and greatest, my soul wants to rediscover the timelessness of the presence of God. Genesis 26:17 talks about this sort of rediscovery when Isaac returns to the wells of his father to re-dig them and bring forth water once again. Does your soul thirst for the Living Water? It is not time to look for something new to satisfy this thirst but to dig again – to remove any barrier keeping you from His presence. 

 Today, find a few moments to press pause on this fast-paced world and linger longer in His presence.
