Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith නියැදිය

Humility is a weapon. It makes us invulnerable to the attacks of the enemy who usually uses people or situations to bring us down. But humility not only guards us and repels those darts, but it will also bring us victory and joy. Humbling ourselves doesn’t come naturally to any of us. We are born with the desire for recognition and fame. Yet living for Christ, living like Christ, teaches us to fight as He fought – “by silence, by patience, by love, freely forgiving, freely receiving any injury, any insult, any attack that can come from any quarter in the strength of Jesus Christ who poured out His soul to death.”* When we humble ourselves to that extent, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us!
Pray for:
• The spirit of pride to be broken in us and replaced with humility.
• The willingness and strength to die to ourselves daily – in every area of our lives.
• Christ’s rule to be evident in our lives.
* Quotation is taken from The Music of His Promises by Elisabeth Elliot.
