Who You Say I Am – Part 2නියැදිය

We can't do anything to make ourselves forgiven. We can't be perfect enough on our own to ever live totally without sin. We can't try and be forgiven by doing a million good deeds or giving all our money to the needy. Forgiveness is not based on anything we can do ourselves forgiveness comes from God.
On our own we are trapped in our sin, we can't make our own way out; we are forgiven only because of Jesus! Jesus died and rose again so we can be free.
God loves us so much that He sent Jesus for us. While we were still living life our own way, separated from God by our sin Jesus died for us, taking the punishment for sin on our behalf.
Through Jesus we are forgiven and this gift of grace and forgiveness is for everyone who turns to God. Jesus died and rose again so we could be forgiven.
Discover more about God’s forgiveness in today’s verses.
