Reflect

Imagine a rich banquet of everything you need to eat and drink at no cost to you. All you have to do is ask and receive. God is the giver of all that we need. How often are we willing to spend lavishly on things that will not satisfy! Are there “voices” that you need to ignore? How will you “incline your ear” to God?

Engage

Read today’s Scripture passage. Say or write it out in your own words, considering the following questions.

· What does it say about God?

· What does it say about us?

· Is there a promise to trust?

· Is there a command to obey?

· How will I apply this Scripture to my life?

· Who will I show that I care by sharing this truth?

Memorize

Now read this week’s memory verses, Hebrews 4:14-16. Spend a few minutes working to memorize them.
