From Beginning to Endනියැදිය

Joseph’s brothers arrive in Egypt looking for food. This is Joseph’s chance for revenge. It looks like he is going to do that when he puts them in prison, but he lets all of them go except for Simeon. Will they abandon Simeon as they did Joseph, or will they return?
It would have been tempting for Joseph to lash out in anger at his brothers, but he doesn’t. Anger can be difficult to control when we look only at how we have been hurt. We don’t look to see how God may be at work. The next time you are hurt, ask yourself what God might be doing in this situation. Maybe it will help to reduce your anger.

This is part one of a four-part plan to read the books of the Bible that tell of the historical events. Although the Bible contains many stories, it is one story from beginning to end of God’s interactions with humanity. One day per week can be used to catch up on missed readings or for reflection. Notes are also included to assist with understanding.
