“Tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from everyone whose heart prompts them to give.” (Exodus 25:2) 

Where did they get the treasures that they offered voluntarily?

Remember Exodus 12:36. The wealth they owned were because of God’s blessings, so it was only fitting that they were offered back to God.
