Paul consistently prayed for God to empower the believers in Thessalonica to walk worthy of Christ. His heart’s cry was to see God glorified in and through each of their lives, and so he interceded on their behalf asking God to grant them His grace and strength. He longed for the Thessalonians to develop a resolute faith and continue to stand strong even in the midst of their suffering.
Are you praying for God to help your loved ones develop a resolute faith? Praying for one another is an essential part of the victorious Christian life. Whenever you are struggling with discouragement, the wisest response is to ask a few godly women to pray for you to stand strong in faith.
Lord, I want to walk worthy and glorify You through my life this week. Grow a resolute faith in my heart and in the lives of my loved ones. Amen
