දාවිත්ගේ අවසන් වදන් මේවා ය: “යෙස්සේගේ පුත් දාවිත්ගේ ප්‍රකාශයයි; උතුම් බවට පමණුවන ලද, යාකොබ්ගේ දෙවියන්වහන්සේ විසින් අභිෂේක කරන ලද මිනිසා වූ ඉශ්‍රායෙල්ගේ ඉමිහිරි ගීතිකාකරු වූ මිනිසාගේ ප්‍රකාශයයි. “ස්වාමින්වහන්සේගේ ආත්මයාණෝ මා තුළින් කතා කළ සේක. උන්වහන්සේගේ වචනය මගේ දිවෙහි වෙයි. ඉශ්‍රායෙල්ගේ දෙවියන්වහන්සේ කතා කළ සේක. ඉශ්‍රායෙල්ගේ පර්වතයාණෝ මට මෙසේ කී සේක: ‘යමෙක් දමිටුකමින් මිනිසුන් ආණ්ඩු කරන්නේ ද, දෙවියන්වහන්සේට භය පක්ෂපාතී ව පාලනයෙහි යෙදෙන්නේ ද, ඔහු, උදෑසන එළිය සේ ඔවුන් පිට බබළයි, පොළොවෙන් තෘණ හටගන්වන වැස්සෙන් පසු, වලාකුළින් තොර උදයක දීප්තියෙන් බබළන හිරු වැන්න.’ “සැබවින් ම දෙවියන්වහන්සේ ඉදිරියේ මගේ වංශය ඒ ආකාර වේ. මන්ද උන්වහන්සේ හැම අංගයක් ම නිසි පිළිවෙලටත්, සුරක්ෂිතවත්, මා සමඟ සදාතනික ගිවිසුමක් කළ සේක. මන්ද උන්වහන්සේ මා සඵල වන්නට සලස්වා, මගේ සියලු උපකාර හා අපේක්ෂා ඉටුවන්නට නො සලසන සේක් ද? එහෙත් දුෂ්ට මිනිසුන් සියල්ලෝ, ඉවත ලන කටු පඳුරු හා සමාන වෙති. මන්ද ඒවා අතින් ඇල්ලිය නො හැකි ය. ඊට අත ගසන අය, යකඩ උපකරණයක් හෝ හෙල්ල මිටක් හෝ උපයෝගී කර ගනිති. ඒවා ඇති තැන්වල ම ඒවා පුලුස්සා දැමේ.”
