My inspiration for this 30 days Devotional is from prolonged theological discourses on Justice. My burning desire is to see that the Church becomes catalyst to stop violence against the poor. I am also grateful to Organizations who work relentlessly to secure Justice for the poor.

Mandates for Men: Serve Others is a 30-day devotional plan that calls for men to rise to the biblical mandate of serving others. Rooted in humility, love, action, and purpose, this journey challenges men to reflect Christ daily by embracing a servant-hearted mindset. Love is an action word. As men, we are not called to be lackadaisical or lazy in our approach to life. As leaders, God has asked men to be responsible for what he has been given. To be the leaders God has called us to be, we must love sacrificially, just like Christ Jesus. No servant is greater than the master; if Christ loved sacrificially, we must do the same. Participate in these mandates with friends who can hold you accountable as you focus on developing yourself into a Godly man.

Jesus told us that our weariness comes from carrying a burden that is too heavy for us. Instead, we are supposed to give our problems, cares, and concerns to Him and allow Him to give us the strength to do what He asks. He will teach us to do this over the next 30 days because He is humble and gentle at heart. God's word will show us examples of people throughout scripture who put their burdens in His hands and found rest for their souls.

The following reading plan is provided to encourage you to dig deep into the Biblical message of generosity. It is here that we discover the good news that God has not only made us to be recipients of his grace but has also invited us to become participants in the movement of his divine generosity.
