This devotion is taken from my new book, "Abiding in the Prince of Peace," and I want to share some raw and transparent truth that can help you on your journey to mental victory.

Each day we make millions of decisions. Some minor and some that make a major impact. But all of our choices affect those around us. To make solid decisions we need to be rooted in God's Word and from that flows two aspects that should be at the center of our lives: Wisdom and Worship. This 14 day reading plan uses the Every Man's Bible to help us become rooted in God's wisdom and to live a life of worship to Him.

The heart of this devotional is to help unpack a greater understanding of the truth and purpose of the Holy Spirit for us as believers—to help bring clarity to what can sometimes be a foggy part of our faith and hopefully stir you to rely on the Holy Spirit more in your everyday life.

Each day of this very personal Bible plan brings you once again to the altar in your soul—just you and Jesus. Over the course of fourteen days you will have God-opportunities to redirect your life, cast your burdens on the One who cares for you, and be filled anew—a different experience each day. Come be gloriously changed, receive peace, and walk free!

The church at Corinth was plagued by internal division and sinful derision.
