Îngerul i-a zis: „Nu te teme, Maria, căci ai găsit har înaintea lui Dumnezeu! Iată, vei zămisli și vei naște un Fiu, căruia Îi vei pune numele Isus. El va fi mare și va fi numit Fiul Celui Preaînalt; și Domnul Dumnezeu Îi va da tronul lui David, părintele Său. El va domni peste casa lui Iacov în veci, și împărăția Lui nu va avea sfârșit.”

They found hope, love, peace, and joy; join the team from Vertical Worship as we remember together how, through Jesus, we can find these too.

Our Christmas story starts with the angel’s annunciation to Mary and concludes with the visit of the Magi. In these reflections and applications of the Christmas narrative I will mostly refer to Luke, as his is the fullest of the gospel accounts.
Slow down and savor time with the Savior this season. Choose to pause and ponder as Mary did, to get lost in the wonder of Immanuel, of God with us. This year, let it be simply Christmas.
