When things are not going our way and we face challenging times, one of the greatest things we can do is to continue to thank God. We always have something that we can be thankful for. Amazingly, the overflowing expression of thankfulness to our God lets people know that God is alive and real. We furthermore are declaring that God is for us, He has not changed and He is the very centre of our lives. We have every opportunity to serve others so let us do it with thanksgiving. Despite our circumstances and amidst having our own needs, let us be a blessing to someone else to bring hope and show God’s kindness. Let our acts of kindness be an overflow of our thanksgiving to God. 

The result of our acts of service is amazing. When we are determined to live for God, desiring to serve Him, to be thankful, other people will also reap the benefits from our obedience. Our obedience to pray, not to give up and to show love (despite the need to be loved ourselves) will result in an increase in our own lives. We will reap an overflow when we sow seeds and give out of our thankful heart.

We pray you will continue to experience the overflow and goodness of God during this season.  Let us believe God unwaveringly for the continual overflow that comes out of our obedience.

PRAYER

Father, we thank You that You are with us through every single situation. I pray that You will use us to not only serve but to pour out Your love and Your goodness to this world. We thank You that we will see the overflow of God in every day and every situation. Amen!
