Did you know that as a Christian you can work against the Holy Spirit? 

There is no question or doubt the Holy Spirit plays a very present and powerful role in our lives.  As followers of Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit is at work in you. However, if you are not doing your best to follow the Holy Spirit through the power of God in your life, then you are working against Him. Our human nature – that fallen man that is at work in us – is constantly trying to pull us away from God's plan and God's best for our lives. But God made a way for us through the incredible gift of Jesus Christ.  You see, when we come into a personal relationship with Christ and we accept him as our Lord and Savior, God gives us the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit’s presence is in our lives 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Work with Him, not against Him to live an amazing, Spirit-filled life!
