One: Responding to the One True GodExemplo

Be aware, the devil, God’s enemy, isn’t going to be happy about the fact you’ve decided to join God in His plan to rescue souls. In fact, He’s going to come at you with everything he’s got, whispering lies, tempting you to doubt, and throwing every obstacle he can get hold of in your way so you’ll fall flat on your face. Don’t give in. 

As a rescued and permanently adopted child of God, you have the power of the Holy Spirit inside you. If you study your Bible, keep confessing your sin and turning away from it when it happens, and listen for His voice, you’ll be able to resist the devil’s traps and prove to those who aren’t able to resist those traps that God is at work in you. They’ll have to believe there’s a Rescuer because you’ve obviously been rescued from the sin that still holds them fast. Maybe they’ll let themselves be rescued, too!
