As Christ followers, we are called to fulfill our roles by learning them thoroughly and by consistently giving 100 percent. 

As Christians, we are not only responsible for what we do but also for those actions we choose not to do—especially if we should be doing them!

Scripture encourages us to evaluate the investments we’re making in our team roles. I suggest four words to consider when evaluating your own performance: How present, positive, proactive, and prepared are you? High-performing teams have members who strive to own their roles and give their best in these four areas.

Since we will be held accountable for the roles God entrusted to us, we need to do our best with these responsibilities. Take ownership. Show up faithfully, ready to work hard and give your best to whatever you’ve been called to do.
