Pivotਨਮੂਨਾ

Reading the Bible can feel intimidating sometimes. But one simple way of studying Scripture is called S.O.A.P. It stands for "Scripture," "Observation," "Application," and "Prayer." We'll show you how—it's easy!
S: Scripture
If you haven't already, read today's passage of Scripture. Then summarize it in your own words.
O: Observation
Read Luke 6:32–36 again.
- What kind of love does Jesus talk about here?
- Who does Jesus say we should love?
- What stands out or surprises you in this passage?
A: Application
- Have you ever struggled to treat someone that upset you with kindness instead of how you think they deserve to be treated? What happened in that situation?
- What's your typical reaction when someone annoys or hurts you?
- How can you extend mercy toward others this week?
P: Prayer
Spend some time talking with God about how you react to others. Ask for help choosing mercy and kindness. Thank God for all of the grace you've received in the past.

About this Plan

Sometimes the issue isn’t effort—it’s direction. Real change often begins with small, honest shifts in our habits, attitudes, and choices. Scripture shows how God invites us to pivot when our way isn’t working, leading to renewal and growth. In this series, students will see that God can turn our arrogance into humility, God can turn our cruelty into kindness, God can turn our selfishness into generosity, and God can turn our brokenness into wholeness.
