Honest Faith: Bringing Your Doubts to Godਨਮੂਨਾ

John spent his life preparing the way for Jesus. He baptized him, declared his coming, and lived with total dedication to God’s mission. But when he was in prison, he had doubts. The weight of isolation, uncertainty, and unmet expectations crept in. Even John—the one who had seen God’s promises come to life—questioned, “Is this really happening?”
That shows us something powerful: doubt doesn’t disqualify you. God isn’t frustrated or disappointed. He meets you where you are, even in the foggiest seasons. Doubt is a natural part of walking with him. It doesn’t mean your faith is weak—it means you’re human, and God can handle your questions.
What doubts are weighing on your heart today? Name them, bring them to God, and remember you’re not walking this alone. God is not intimidated by your uncertainty.
Pray: God, thank you for meeting me where I am. Help me trust you even when I can’t see clearly.

About this Plan

Doubt is often seen as something negative, but the Bible shows us that doubt is a natural part of faith. Some of the strongest followers of Jesus wrestled with uncertainty, and rather than rejecting them, God met them with grace and truth. Explore how Scripture acknowledges doubt, how God responds to it, and how we can continue to trust him even when we don’t have all the answers.
