• What made five of the virgins wise and what behavior made the other five foolish?
• What did the first two servants do with the bags of gold entrusted to them and how were they rewarded?
• What did the servant entrusted with one bag of gold do with it and how did the Master respond to his actions?

Pray and Apply:

What we believe about the character of God matters. Sadly, because the third servant thought his master was a hard man, he failed to produce what he was capable of and lost what little he had. Take a few minutes to jot down in your Seek First Journal what you believe about God, thinking about what He thinks about you, what His intentions are towards you, and what He is both capable of and willing to do in your life. Then ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you any false perceptions of God you may be holding on to and the impact those beliefs are having on your relationship with God and others. Sit silently and let God speak to you and reveal to you His character even more fully.
