Seek First 365: A One Year Bible Reading Plan for Daily Devotionਨਮੂਨਾ

Reflection:
- In verse 24, what promise did Jesus make?
- What specific instructions did Jesus give about how we should pray in verses 24-26? Why are these essential components of prayer?
- After Jesus asked a question to the religious scholars, why (in verses 31-33) were they unable to answer? What does that show you about the true motives of the religious leaders who opposed Jesus?
Pray and Apply:
Reread verses 22-26. Think about an area of your life or current situation where you want to see the power of the Kingdom of God exercised. Spend some time praying, fueled by the faith described by Jesus in this passage. And if you are harboring any unforgiveness toward another, take a couple of minutes to actively forgive him or her and release your resentment to God as you pray.
