WHEN OPINIONS HURTਨਮੂਨਾ

DAY 2: The Only Voice That Matters
After the miraculous catch, Peter fell to his knees and said, “Go away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man.” This reveals:
Row 3: How I think God sees me — He cannot use a failure, I need to sort myself first.
Peter’s view of God had been filtered through the shame he felt from Rows One and Two. He assumed God saw him as a failure, broken, or unworthy—just as he saw himself. Many believers quietly live in this row, thinking God can only use them once they “fix themselves.”
But Jesus interrupts that lie. He doesn’t step into Peter’s boat because Peter is perfect—He steps in because Peter is available. He speaks destiny where Peter sees defeat.
Row 4: How God sees me — God can use me, I have a part in God’s plan, a fisher of men.
Jesus didn’t focus on Peter’s failure. Instead, He spoke purpose: “From now on you will fish for people.” God saw Peter’s calling, potential, and great future impact. Even while struggling and misunderstood by others, Peter’s identity and purpose were secure in God’s eyes.
Opinions may have wounded Peter, and his own self-judgment could have stopped him, but God’s voice redefined his identity. That’s the power of Row Four: God sees you through His design, not your mistakes or others’ opinions. He sees purpose where you see failure, and His plans for you are good, intentional, and greater than any label you’ve carried.
Reflection Question: What false identity have you carried that does not match what God actually sees in you?
Prayer: Jesus, I release every false identity. Heal my heart and teach me to trust Your voice above all others. Amen.
Declaration: God’s voice defines me. I am called, chosen, and becoming who He sees in me.
