Our God is sovereign. He is the ruler of all.
Colossians 1:17 says that He is “before all things”.
1 Timothy 6:15 says, “Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords.”
He is our Creator, the Most High God, and worthy of all glory, honor, and praise. He is the King of Kings. Revelation 19:16 says, “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.” This was a symbol of his sovereignty. While many political officials, countries, and groups claim to have power, God quietly, but firmly, rules over all others.
We can be comforted knowing that powers on this earth are not truly in control.
Pray and thank God for His perfect sovereignty and love.
