The Bible is scientifically accurate!

Until the 1500s, scientists were unsure where rain came from. In Amos 9:6, the Bible accurately describes the hydrologic cycle. The book of Amos was written thousands of years ago, and at that time, people did not yet understand that water could evaporate, accumulate in the sky in the form of clouds, shift over land, and dump water as rain. In Amos 9:6, God tells us that He created a process by which water would come out of the sea into the sky and then rain on the earth. This description is more evidence that the Author of the Bible was also the Creator of nature, because He fully understood the processes which He had created.
