Weeping at Christmas

DAY 2 OF 7

Grief Is Not a Sign of Weakness

Jesus—fully God—also wept. He validates our emotions. Grief does not mean a lack of faith; it expresses love and the longing for restoration. God wants to share in your deepest sorrows and lonely days. He comforts without judgment and meets you with compassion. Share your grief and inner pain with Him, because He knows exactly how you feel. Grief is a sign of love and longing.

Reflection: Where do you need to allow yourself permission to grieve?

Prayer: Lord Jesus, help me through my sorrow and tears, thank you for speaking peace to my heart and my longing. Amen

About this Plan

Weeping at Christmas

Christmas is often portrayed as joyful, but for many people, it can also be a painful season. Loss, loneliness, disappointment, and our silent struggles do not disappear during the holidays. This 7-day devotional walks with those who weep at Christmas and points to the comfort, healing, and hope found in Jesus. God sees your tears, hears your cries, and promises His presence even in sorrow.
