See the Beauty (Behold Jesus)ਨਮੂਨਾ

A lot is going on in the world right now, without the details of the current affairs, it's apparent that people are generally despondent. We're seeing people become increasingly ballistic and unkind, while loneliness is also skyrocketing. Forming a part of the general population's experiences, you and I, too, have faced our fair share of difficulties this year. Overcome by my despair, I was inspired by the Holy Spirit to rebel against despondency and choose to see the simplistic beauty of life and living.
Determined to see the beauty around me, while there is a lot happening around me, I started with the foundation; first and foremost, Christ is the beauty to behold.
The word behold can be confusing as it is polysemous, which means that it has multiple meanings. For the sake of this conversation, "Behold" means to see or look at something with attention, appreciation, or wonder.
Amidst the chaos and cacophony of this world, I would like to challenge you to look at Jesus with attention, appreciation, and wonder.
In this plan, we will be breaking down practical ways of beholding Jesus in tumultuous times. For the next 3 days, we will behold Jesus with all our attention, behold Jesus with appreciation, and lastly, behold Jesus with wonder.
Before we hop on it, let us pray:
Lord Jesus, thank you for dying on the cross for us and reconciling us with the Father. We are overwhelmed by the state of the world and our own brokenness. We look unto you, we fix our ways on you, the author and finisher of our faith. Thank you for the privilege of communing with you during trying times. Teach us, Lord, to see beauty around us, but first, help us to see beauty in you. In Jesus' Name we pray, Amen.
