The Pursuit - 12 Weeksਨਮੂਨਾ

Romans 1 paints a sobering picture of humanity. Paul describes how people exchanged the truth of God for a lie, worshiping created things instead of the Creator. The result is a downward spiral of sin—idolatry, impurity, greed, violence, pride.
Sin isn’t just about breaking rules; it’s about rejecting God. When people push Him out, chaos follows. Society unravels because hearts are turned inward. This passage is both diagnosis and warning: sin spreads like wildfire, infecting every generation.
But hidden in Paul’s words is also a reminder: God’s wrath is not arbitrary. It’s the natural outcome of turning from Him. The good news is that where sin abounds, grace will abound all the more (Romans 5).
Reflection:
What are some “modern idols” people put in place of God today?
