The Pursuit - 12 Weeksਨਮੂਨਾ

Psalm 8 is David marveling at creation. He looks up at the stars and asks, “What is mankind that you are mindful of them?” Compared to the vast universe, humans seem so small. Yet God crowns us with glory and honor, giving us purpose and authority.
This psalm reminds us of the tension between humility and dignity. On one hand, we’re tiny specks in a massive cosmos. On the other, God Himself values us beyond comprehension. You are not an accident. You are not forgotten. You matter to God.
David celebrates that God gives humans a role in His creation. We’re entrusted with responsibility—to steward the earth and reflect God’s glory. This balance of humility and dignity keeps us grounded: we’re not gods, but we are God’s.
Reflection:
When was the last time you slowed down to marvel at God’s creation and your place in it?
