Surrounded: Living With Confidence in God’s Protectionਨਮੂਨਾ

Reading: Luke 6:27–36
Devotional:
Jesus calls us to love our enemies, a radical command that goes against our instincts. In His Kingdom, love isn’t a feeling; it’s a decision to do good even when it’s undeserved.
When we choose forgiveness over retaliation, we reflect Christ’s heart. Every act of mercy disrupts the enemy’s cycle of hate. Responding with love doesn’t mean ignoring wrongs, it means trusting God with justice while keeping your heart pure.
Think about someone who has wronged you or opposes you. What would it look like to respond with grace instead of offense this week?
Prayer:
Lord, teach me to love like You love. Break any bitterness or pride that keeps me from showing grace. Help me to see my enemies through Your eyes, as people in need of mercy. Let my response be a testimony of Your transforming love. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Application:
Pray by name for someone who has hurt you. Then take one small, tangible action, a message, a compliment, or an act of kindness, that expresses love instead of resentment.
