Day 5 — The Dawn of Redemption

Scripture: Malachi 4:2 — “But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its rays.”

Devotional Thought: After generations of waiting, God promised that a new day would dawn. The “sun of righteousness” is a picture of Jesus, bringing healing, forgiveness, and new life. Advent invites us to watch the horizon, to believe that the night won’t last forever. His light is already rising, bringing warmth and restoration to weary souls.

Prayer Prompt: Lord Jesus, rise in my heart like the morning sun. Heal what is broken in me and help me share Your light with others.

Daily Challenge: As the sun rises or sets today, pause to thank God for His faithfulness — the promise that no night lasts forever.
