Living Open-Handed: 30 Days of Generosity and Impactਨਮੂਨਾ

When Giving Costs You Something
Is it still generosity if it costs you nothing?
King David once said he wouldn't offer to God something that cost him nothing. Real generosity often means giving up something valuable. It might be comfort, time, or money you could have used for yourself.
Jesus also praised a poor widow who gave two small coins. He said she’d given more than anyone else because she gave everything she had to live on.
When giving costs us, it reveals what we value most and how much we trust God.
Reflection Question: What’s one area where God might be inviting you to give sacrificially?
Call to Action: Give in a way this week that requires real sacrifice.
Prayer: Lord, help me give even when it costs me. Teach me to trust that You are worth more than anything I hold onto. Amen.
