Joy Rulesਨਮੂਨਾ

Today we finish the book of Philippians with a few closing words from Paul. See if you can note a remarkable detail that he includes.
At first glance, this seems straightforward, but Paul specifically mentions the greetings of people in Caesar’s household. Caesar was the highest official in Rome, which was the government that had arrested Paul. Even though Paul couldn’t travel to spread the Good News of Jesus while imprisoned, he still shared this hopeful reminder that the message of Jesus is for everyone and capable of spreading to EVERYONE.
Take a moment to pause and pray:
- Ask God to help you remember that his Good News has the power to reach EVERYONE.
- Ask God to help you to stay connected to his grace and his joy.
If you took notes during the reading plan, take a moment to look back over them. What stands out to you from reading through the book of Philippians? How has God been at work through this regular habit of spending time in his Word?
Practice: How has God encouraged and challenged you to lean into joy over the past five weeks?
