Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day. (Psalm 96:1-2)
Abba, my divine Composer, You graciously call me into an eternal song of worship and a concert of praise to You. Equip me, free of weight that would slow me down, trip me up, or entangle me, to sing my part and play my role in Your ever-new, glorious composition with Your Holy angels and a great cloud of witnesses.
Without worship and prayer, I quickly wither, starve, thirst, and droop. Yet, You, the Conductor of all harmony, prepare and place me in Your orchestra with the promise never to leave me.
Today, fill me with Your presence, enabling me to join Your holy orchestration with exuberant joy. May the symphony made up of both the music of my life and the lyrics of my words resonate with Your praise, reflect Your love, and release Your grace today and forever.
