Earth Is Heaven's Bootcampਨਮੂਨਾ

Reverential Fear
There is a significant distinction between fear and reverential fear. During life’s boot camp on earth, we must walk with reverent fear of the Lord, which means to have awe and respect for God, realizing He is supreme in authority, power, and holiness. He is sovereign.

“Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment.” Proverbs 9:10 NLT
When we live life with this reverent fear, the Scripture tells us it is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge, and understanding of God.
One of boot camp’s biggest lessons is to get rid of ego and pride. “He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.” John 3:30 NLT
To revere God is to honor Him, and we do that by worshipping and praising who He is! This should become a part of our daily walk in life. Why?
· He is the author of all creation! John 1:3
· He lovingly gave up His only Son that we could live in His presence! John 3:16
· He wakes us up with brand new days! Isaiah 50:4
· His mercies are new every morning! Lamentations 3:22-23
· He is faithful! 2 Thessalonians 3:3
· He promised never to leave or forsake us! Hebrews 13:5
· He forgives and forgets when we ask sincerely, never bringing it up again! Micah 7:19
· He sent the 3rd person of the Trinity in the form of the Holy Spirit to empower and endue us as our advocate. John 14:16
· He (the Word) is as close to us as our lips! Romans 10:8
The list could go on, but I highlighted enough to make us realize why He is so deserving of our worship and praise.
The very first command that God wrote on the tablets is, “You shall have no other gods before Me.” Exodus 20:3 NKJV. He wanted us to realize that He alone is God!
Prayer: Father, we are reminded in Philippians 2:10 that one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that You are Lord, in heaven, on earth, and under the earth! Let us turn our eyes toward You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

About this Plan

Compared to eternity, life on earth is but a short time. The world is home to an estimated 722,000 centenarians (age 100), according to the United Nations’ population projections for 2024. That is, .02 to .03% of the world’s population. Whether we die young or live to be old, what we do in between will matter. Living here is boot camp training to qualify for heaven!
