Earth Is Heaven's Bootcampਨਮੂਨਾ

Help! How To Get Self-Discipline and Control
Boot camp length varies for each individual, as some die young, while others live a long life. How we handle Earth’s boot camp determines our destination. The following scripture contains a wealth of information in two short verses, as it reminds us of what can defile a person.
And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness." Mark 7:20-22 NLT
WOW, those verses aren’t messing around; they share truth and may be hard for some to swallow. Thirteen actions that can keep us off the right path and lead us astray.
It takes a lot of willpower and stamina to be self-disciplined. Self-discipline (self-control) is one of the fruits of the Spirit. If you are having difficulty with self-control, I suggest researching all scriptures related to the subject and digesting their teachings. I have listed a few, but many others found in the Bible will also be beneficial.
Discipline is doing what needs to be done, even when you don’t want to do it. Self-discipline impacts all aspects of life, including physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Some steps to help:
· Remove anything that tempts your focus: what tries to get your attention and time?
· Determine what you need to improve first (or accomplish first). In other words, work on one thing at a time; the most essential thing is to know what will benefit you the most.
· Identify your weak and strong areas. Feed your mind with positivity and strengths, and never tear yourself down.
· Don’t be afraid to seek professional help (talk to someone who is a good listener with sound advice).
· Have an accountability partner (a trusted family member or friend).
· Do not procrastinate (progress by doing a little at a time).
· Always remember we learn from mistakes, so don’t be too hard on yourself.
· Learning self-control and discipline takes time, so be patient with yourself.
“The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.” I Corinthians 10:13 NLT
Prayer: Lord, You know our weak areas, so help us to learn self-control and discipline that will strengthen our walk daily. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
About this Plan

Compared to eternity, life on earth is but a short time. The world is home to an estimated 722,000 centenarians (age 100), according to the United Nations’ population projections for 2024. That is, .02 to .03% of the world’s population. Whether we die young or live to be old, what we do in between will matter. Living here is boot camp training to qualify for heaven!
