Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand! (Matthew 3:2 NKJV).
What does God expect from you who live in a wicked and violent world?
In Genesis chapter 6, we learn that the thoughts of man were only evil continually. The Lord is evaluating the hearts of mankind, but thankfully, He also is looking down and sees a man by the name of Noah, and God inspects his heart. “Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God” (Genesis 6:9 NKJV). What was it that Noah was doing once God made the decision to judge the earth, to wipe it out via a flood? For 120 years, Noah proclaimed the Word of God. May I encourage you, child of God, that although we live in this wicked world, to do the same.
Employment Point: Walk with God and proclaim His Word.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
