Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap (Galatians 6:7 NKJV).
Where are you storing up your treasures?
In the book of Isaiah and throughout the New Testament, Jesus is described as the solid foundation. Are you grounding your life in His teachings?
In Luke 10:7 (NKJV), Jesus tells those He sends to preach the gospel that “…the laborers is worthy of his wages” showing that those who preach the gospel are given the right to have their needs met by the saints. Therefore, Paul gives the following command in Galatians 6:6 (NKJV): “Let him who is taught the word share in all good things with him who teaches.”
Evaluate how well you’re building on the Rock and make any necessary adjustments to ensure your foundation is secure. Trust in Jesus as your unshakable Rock, and let His truth guide your decisions and actions.
Employment Point: Lay up treasures in heaven by meeting the physical needs of your pastors.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
