Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

Apply your heart to instruction, and your ears to words of knowledge (Proverbs 23:12 NKJV).
Are you living up to your new capacity in Christ?
When you accepted Jesus, you became a new creation. Your sin has been forgiven, and you’re empowered to live a victorious Christian life. “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV). Are you fully embracing this new identity?
Reflect on how you’re living out your faith. Are you allowing Christ’s righteousness to guide your actions? Remember, your life should reflect the transformation that has taken place within you. Take time to evaluate how well you’re representing Christ and seek ways to live up to the new capacity He has given you.
Employment Point: Maximize your new capacity in Jesus by finding the lost and training the found.

About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
