Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples (Psalm 77:14 NKJV).
How strong is your daily walk with the Lord?
You and I sit in a privileged seat. We’ve been raised with Jesus to positionally to be situated in heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3; 2:6). Because of His death, we are crucified positionally with Him. Paul states, “I have been crucified with Christ” (Galatians 2:20 NKJV). As a result of our position in Christ, we should live victorious Christian lives.
Romans 6:1–4 declares we are free from sin and should “walk in newness of life.” We are no longer slaves to sin. Let’s personalize Romans 6 today. Paul advises, “Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:11 NKJV). Let God’s strength be evident in your life through your sanctification.
Employment Point: Walk in newness of life through your union with Jesus.
About this Plan

Devotions on F.I.R.E. journeys through the Bible in one year. Each day includes a devotion based on Dr. Burge’s F.I.R.E. method of Bible Study. F.I.R.E. stands for Familiarity, Interpretation, Relationship, and Employment. The F.I.R.E. method and the daily devotions help readers remember and apply what they read as they fuel the fire in their hearts for God’s Word—adapted from the book Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Two, by Dr. Ken J. Burge, Sr.
