Devotions on F.I.R.E. Year Twoਨਮੂਨਾ

But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the word (Acts 6:4 NKJV).
Are distractions preventing you from focusing on your spiritual priorities?
As the church expands, so do the demands on its leaders. Despite the disciples' responsibility to attend to the needs of the brethren, the apostles discern the importance of focusing on teaching and preaching. Luke recounts, "Then the twelve summoned the multitude of the disciples and said, 'It is not desirable that we should leave the word of God and serve tables'" (Acts 6:2 NKJV).
By focusing on their primary task, spreading the word of God, they witness remarkable growth: "Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem" (Acts 6:7 NKJV).
Let's heed this lesson in our own lives, ensuring that we prioritize the most important tasks and commitments, which in turn will lead to significant growth and impact in our endeavors.
Employment Point: Maintain your spiritual priorities for the church to flourish.
