God Heals Our Pastਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 1: God Redeems Our Story
Scriptures:
Isaiah 43:18–19 (NIV)– “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Philippians 3:13–14 (NIV)- "Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."
Devotional Thought:
Sometimes the past lingers like a shadow—filled with regrets, failures, and hurts we wish we could erase. Yet God invites us to place all these burdens into His loving hands. Through His grace, even the chapters we wish had never been written become testimonies of His redeeming power. Where there was brokenness, God brings restoration. Where there was shame, He clothes us with honor. Today, He whispers: Your story is not wasted.
Reflection:
Which part of your story are you holding onto? Can you trust God to redeem it for His glory?
Prayer:
Father, I surrender my past to You. Take the broken pieces of my story and use them to display Your grace. Heal me, make me whole, and help me walk forward in freedom. In Jesus' name, Amen.
