He Sent His Word and Healed Them

What does someone on death row need? Some might say words of comfort or help to repent. But if we were in that condition, we’d probably want just one thing, mercy.

The psalmist reminds us that God, in His mercy, sends His Word not to comfort us in our condemnation, but to set us free from it. His Word pulls us out of the pit, from death, from danger… and does even more, it heals.

It’s amazing to think that a single word spoken by God can completely change a life. We’re not only talking about physical healing, but also spiritual, emotional, and inner healing.

Where there is pain, confusion, sin, or sickness, His Word brings life, peace, light, and hope.

When God speaks, everything changes. Chaos becomes order, sickness turns to health, despair becomes joy. One Word is enough… but it must be His Word.

Prayer: Lord, send Your Word over me. Heal my body, my mind, and my spirit. One word from You is enough to make me live again.
