The Bible says to be filled with the Spirit, become strong and courageous, and do your work! In business, we need strong and courageous leaders. Businesspeople need strength and courage to venture, innovate, take risks, and lead rather than be servants of the status quo or others’ interests.

The Bible records that Solomon inherited his father’s kingdom and estate with over $6 billion (USD) in gold and detailed instructions to build the temple. David provides Solomon plans for the temple, buildings, storerooms, the treasuries, and for all the articles of gold and silver. He also gave him instructions for all the work and for serving in the temple. Then David instructs his son Solomon, “Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you.”[1]

Ask God to give you strength and courage for work.
