The Bible's Business Planਨਮੂਨਾ

“Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality. At the present time your plenty will supply what they need, so that in turn their plenty will supply what you need. The goal is equality, as it is written: “The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little.” 2 Corinthians 8:13–15 NIV
BUSINESS BIBLE
God’s Economy establishes a six-day workweek, tithing, gleaning, and forgiving debts to provide for the needs of the poor. The Plan for work is to use the earth’s resources to be fruitful and to multiply. The Promise is that faithful work will produce peace and prosperity and that “there will be no poor among you”[1].
The apostle Paul promotes equality and provision for the poor. This goal for equality is dependent upon work and generosity. Everyone is created to work and encouraged to give generously. The wealthy are expected to be generous and hospitable because they have the means to do so. The poor are commanded to work rather than remain idle.
The early church is known for its hard work and charity for one another.
Productive work and generosity provide for the needs of the poor and create equality.
[1] Deuteronomy 15:4
