30 Day Devotional Journey - Anchored in Hopeਨਮੂਨਾ

Making things new
"Making things new" and "making new things" have different meanings—one is the art of restoring what was, into what it was always intended to be, and the other is creating something that has never been made.
Restoration is central to the very heart of God and His plan for humanity. From the fall of man so very long ago—a fall that separated us completely from walking with our creator—God put a plan in place so intricate, so painstakingly beautiful, so profound that it would take thousands of years to come to fruition. His plan—to restore us back to Him, to wipe every tear from our eyes and to make ALL things new.
Restoration takes time—it requires an intimate knowledge of how something was created and how it was intended to be. God, the creator, could have simply wiped the slate clean and started again, yet that was not His plan. He so loved and cherished His creation that although the plan for restoration would take time and there would be a great cost—it was worth it all.
As I explore God’s heart of restoration for His people, my heart is amazed by His compassion, His care and His tenderness towards us and it allows me to feel safe as I draw close to be restored.
