Daily Thread: Micah, a prophet from a small town, spoke against the corruption of Israel’s leaders and the injustice in society. He prophesied that the Messiah, meaning “anointed one,” would be born in Bethlehem, the city of David. This prophecy tied together God’s covenant promises to David and pointed to Jesus as the true King who would bring justice and peace.
