Raising Kingdom-Minded Children in a Broken World - 30-Day Devotionalਨਮੂਨਾ

Day 26 – The Role of Discipline and Boundaries
Scripture: “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” – Hebrews 12:11 (NIV)
Reflection
Discipline is not about punishment; it is about training. Boundaries may feel hard in the moment, but they bring safety and peace in the long run. God disciplines us out of love, and as parents, we reflect His love when we guide our children with correction and boundaries.
Children thrive when they know where the lines are. Discipline done with love, patience, and consistency helps shape their character and prepares them for life. It may not always feel easy, but it is a key part of equipping them for the future God has for them.
Biblical Affirmation for Your Children
“My children will grow in righteousness and peace through loving discipline and guidance.”
Prayer
Lord, give me wisdom to discipline my children in love. Help me to set boundaries that protect them and shape their hearts. May discipline in our home always lead to peace, growth, and godly character. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step for Parents
Reflect on one area where your child needs clearer boundaries. Gently set or reinforce a boundary with love and explain why it matters.
