God Still Speaks

DAY 5 OF 5

Your Voice Matters

Throughout this week, we’ve seen how God used the voices of faithful women to shape history: Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, and Anna. Each of them lived in different eras, had different personalities, and faced different challenges. But they all shared one thing in common: they used their voice to honor God.

Now it’s your turn.

Maybe your voice doesn’t look like a microphone or a platform. Maybe it’s a quiet conversation at the kitchen table, a prayer whispered for a friend, or a word of encouragement at the right time. But make no mistake: your voice carries weight when it’s submitted to the Lord.

In a world filled with noise, God still speaks through His people. He’s not looking for the loudest voice, He’s looking for a surrendered one.

Your voice might be the one someone needs to hear today. Your obedience might be the confirmation someone else has been praying for. Your story might unlock healing for someone who thought they were alone. And when you speak with love, humility, and courage, you reflect the heart of the God who first spoke the world into being.

So many of us hold back because of fear: What if I say the wrong thing? What if I’m not qualified? What if they don’t listen?

But what if you’re exactly who God wants to use?

You don’t need to have it all figured out. The truth is, this side of heaven, none of us have it all figured out. That’s WHY we need Jesus. Instead? We stay close to the One who does have it all figured out. The Holy Spirit promises to give you words, wisdom, and strength when the moment comes.

Just like Miriam, Deborah, Huldah, and Anna, your voice was made to echo the truth of God’s love and the redemption plan that continues to unfold.

So speak life. Speak truth. Speak hope.

And trust that God will use it.

Prayer:

God, thank You for giving me a voice. Help me to use it for Your glory—not to build myself up, but to point others to You. Silence the fear and insecurities that try to hold me back. Teach me to speak with wisdom, love, and boldness. Let my words be full of grace and truth as I share your love with those around me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
